Vovinam Viet Vo Dao is one
of the famous Vietnamese martial art ,it was founded the first time with the
name of “Vovinam” by the great master Nguan Loc in 1938 ,in order to take
Vietnam out of the Frensh colony ,which had been ruled since 1859 .
After being invited to
demonstrate in Hanoi 1940,VOVINAM Started emerge and sooner it gained
popularity .
After the Nguan Loc’s death
in 1960,the grand master Le Sang continued the founder’s way then Vovinam
opened to the world by the name « Vovinam Viet Vo Dao »,
therefore, a new countries followed this Vietnamese
discipline so the first school out Vietnam was
established in Houston Texas USA ,
by Vietnamese emigrants in 1976, after that several Vovinam schools had been
established all over the world .
